Case Study
Health charity re-brand
Client: Project Awesome
Project: Brand development for a global community running relay
Sector: Sports, community engagement, health & wellbeing
When: 2017
Ambition
Danny Bent, founder of Project Awesome (and once voted the happiest person in the world), had a big idea: to unite people around the world through a global running relay. He invited me to help shape the concept and create a brand that captured the spirit of community, movement, and joy.
Action
I ran a brand discovery workshop with the core team of six to define the vision, values, and practical objectives of the project. We mapped out key audiences, potential partners, and ways to attract sponsors. From there, I developed a brand proposal that laid the foundation for the visual identity and helped guide early messaging.
Impact
The work set a clear direction and helped turn an exciting idea into a compelling movement. The foundations we built supported the creation of what would become One Run, a global relay with community at its heart.

One Run, 2020
"I needed help to develop a strategy for an ambitious global fundraising project. With Nina’s brand and business development workshop I was able to bring together curious minds from different industries to co-define the concept and brand strategy for a ‘world relay’. A relay that would unite the world through being active!
Nina facilitated an energising range of exercises that enabled us to understand the wider context, define a clear vision, audiences, make decisions, and get creative! With Nina’s help early on, we created the foundations of the strategy and brand concept for what has recently become One Run."

Space to strategise
The team of six, from a variety of backgrounds were tasked exercises that encouraged them to define solutions and facilitate discussions that would help them to overcome the challenges of hosting a world relay and create an exciting proposition to audiences.
